Higher Ed Senior-Level Job Search
It is, at times, difficult to find highly qualified candidates for senior level positions in colleges and universities. Job search techniques not only involve knowing how to navigate job marketing, but also understand the location of various applicant pools. The Academic Network has been conducting searches for senior-level positions in higher education for nearly 20 years.
We conduct each senior-level search with flat-rate pricing ($2,400 per search). The cost covers our 4 Search and Selection Phases below.
Phase 1: Gathering
We want to gain an extensive understanding of the position and learn exactly what kind of candidates you seek. We have detailed correspondence with your hiring department prior to beginning the search on ad placement and avenues of continuous correspondence.
Phase 2: Search
We ask that you channel all job advertisement correspondence to our representatives. This allows us to have a steady stream of applications for us to evaluate. We also do an analysis of which advertisement produces the highest volume.
Phase 3: Matching
We match an applicant's credentials with each passage of your job description and eliminate those who do not meet the criteria. We select those who will be the most competitive and notify you with an "Applicant Summary."
Phase 4: Interviewing
We go through an extensive, but speedy, process which narrows down the applicant pool to your most qualified candidates. We interview each candidate with detailed, pre-approved, questions from the college/university and determine the finalists. The finalists are then forwarded to the hiring body for a second interview.
